Bloody hell.

After sixth form today, we went out to pick up my mum from her work.

On the way back we saw this raging fire of a car on the seafront and quickly called the fire service.

It's just been announced that two people were in the car and have died. I feel sick.

Sat in the parking bays that look over the beach.

Loads of people were just stood there taking photos and filming.

Emergency services were very prompt but the fire was just way too big to save those people.

I bet no one phoned it in as well. I don't get people that film etc stuff like this. It's ****ed up.
 
Bit weird for a parked car to go up in flames with two people inside it. Could well have been a suicide.

I guess the people filming didn't realise there were people in there? I'd hope they thought to call the emergency services first anyway.
 
How predictable. It took all of one day.

Tomorrow's Sun front page? Tom Daley's partner, world exclusive. How is this the front page news of what is going on in the UK and worldwide? It just seems unnecessary.

I've never heard of the guy, apparently he's a 39 year old Oscar-winning screenwriter and gay activist. Dustin Lance Black?

But yeah, this is The Sun's front page. Makes me wonder if he came out o avoid someone 'outing' him themselves?

It seems to work for some people, but I cannot imagine being in a relationship with someone any more then 8 years older than me. It might be alright in the short term, but as soon as things get serious there will likely be conflict in priorities and beyond that....when you get older, they get properly old.

Yeah I'd agree with you on that. Probably not even 8 years right now, I think if I was with a 29/30 year old it'd be really weird. Suppose it's different for you, 32 and 24 doesn't seem as weird as 21 and 30 (I'd bet because of the conflict in priorities etc you pointed out). That said, if I was in my fifties and could pull someone in their 20s then I'd be well up for it, provided there were no major maturity issues or anything.
