I don't mind Magners. It's my drink of choice at St Mary's, because it's that, Carling, or some Saints Ale. That, and the price, is why I often try not to drink at the ground.

But yeah, Strongbow can suck a fat one, I've not had that since I was about 16.

Ha..!, Yeah, I'd agree with that. I once asked for a Bulmers Ice but was told that the fridge had broken down. I said I'd rather have it warm anyway. In fact, it turned out to be utterly delightful and full of flavour at room temperature.

Ah I never drink at games. Once I'm in the ground, I don't buy anything. I'm not a huge cider fan at the best of times, but I like Aspall and a few others.

Learnt recently that Iron Maiden make their own ale, called Trooper, and you can buy it in Morrisons.

No I mean ale; Adnams, Badger, etc.

Lager goes in the freezer.

buy cars? I had no idea you could do this. Strange considering the name of the game. Anyway, this isn't GTA IV where you have to search high and low for the best cars; you only have to drive around Beverly Hills for 10 minutes andyou can find the Porshe, Tesla, Veyron, Lambourghini, etc.

We had one of those WOW moments the other evening, when it was discovered that a US B-52 bomber had accidentally dropped two hydrogen bombs while breaking up in the air. Both armed themselves and one got within one low voltage switch of detonating. Obviously, both didn't, and fell to Earth relatively harmlessly.

In 1983, I remember being between jobs, and having a conversation where I was wondering whether it was worth looking for another, as the nuclear cold war situation had got to freezing point. The defence condition of the opposing powers had gone up a notch or two. Today I read this, and it doesn't surprise me. I think it happens more often than we think, but not under those conditions:

Well, I guess that this changes the situation a bit. The doubters will continue to doubt. I have been in no doubt since about the mid-1990s, when I first saw proper data/evidence on the subject. What is it..? Global Warming or Climate Change if that's the term you prefer. There is no doubt it is happening. However, is it being assisted in it's rate and extremes..? Yes, it is now 95% certain that humans are assisting it. Again, it didn't take the evidence and report of now to realise that something was going on. The evidence has been clear from way back. Even in the 1960's there was enough evidence if one looked in the right direction.
