[NSFW] I love how vince gilligan makes you try to hate walt, but then throws a scene or two like that in to show a bit of humanity [/NSFW]
Did you notice he almost took out a player with his parachute?![]()
[nsfw]Is it humanity, though, or is it just Walt manipulating events in the manner that best suits him? From the beginning, his interest has been in controlling things; the moments where he has melted down have been those where he had been outmaneuvered. I don't think that it was about doing the right thing, so much as being seen as doing the right thing because that suits Walt's self-conception and allows him to assert what remains of his influence on events.[/nsfw]
[nsfw]I definitely think it was humanity. Why else would he give Holly back? We've known all along that family is absolutely his #1 priority, even when it's not in his best interests - he realised that him keeping Holly was best for his relationship with the family (because at least he'd still have SOME family), but not best for the family on the whole.[/nsfw]
[nsfw]I don't think that family is his priority at all. I think that claiming that family is his priority is what he has used as justification for actions that were ultimately selfish.[/nsfw]

Why did I read this spoiler?![]()
Nice time for a GTA5 advert to pop up. My appetite is well and truly whetted.
Bundesliga highlights ITV4, get on it.
[nsfw]I don't think so. We saw how much he panicked when he thought Jesse had his money, so we know how important that selfish aspect is to him, yet he was happily willing to give that up when he thought it'd save Hank's life, even though he knows how much Hank hates him, and that having Hank killed would be convenient for Walt. There was nothing selfish about that.
For a while, his selfishness did take over - he basically admitted that when explaining to Jesse why he'd not take a huge payout and quit, that his self esteem was ruined by the whole Grey Matter thing, and he was desperate to not let the same happen again. That was stupid selfishness and it's ended up costing him everything. However, since then, particularly with this last episode in mind, it's become clear he's rearranged his priorities again.[/nsfw]
Roma have looked decent this season, considering who they've lost. Strootman looks very good. Gervinho was, Gervinho.
They beat Parma 3-1 away from home, having gone one behind.
