Which faction?

Err... now you've got me. House of Julii. Just went back into the saved game and noticed the bloody Senate has decided that a few people aren't friends with Rome. Of course, I've got a bit of trade going with a few of them as well and have been raking it in. Ah well, there goes the major upgrade to new privvies I was going to build.

I always struggled with Julii, because the Senate tasks them with everything north and west, and you get very little sea access and often find yourself at war with multiple factions at one time. Gaul are generally **** fighters, but they're bloody everywhere.

I like Scipii. It's easy to dominate the Mediterranean and you basically just have to deal with Carthage at first.

Must admit Joe, I'm waiting for the fall that's sure to come.

One of the things I always did was turn around and try and catch one of the Sicily provinces, because the blues won't attack you for it until much later, and you can trade to them. Scipii are easiest, those three cities are a troop factory.

I always used to make it so I could play the other nations. The thing with playing with a Roman faction is the senate pisses you off.

Yeah, but I like the challenge of unlocking factions by destroying them. It's really hard to unlock Britannia.

I managed Britannia. I never got Spain, whatever they were called.

They are tough as nails. I got various smaller factions, as well as the Gauls and Britannia.

I was the Julii and took all of France, Germany, Britain etc. had gone east somewhat and then started going into Spain and that was a real task. At this point my PC died.

E4 seems to have picked up Bob's Burgers again. I'm happy. Anyone who hasn't seen it before, and has E4, and is still up at 2:50am, should check it out.
