Incidentally I didn't threaten to ban him at all....those were his words. My reference was to the fact that he frequently insults people and if he carried on then he could be asked to leave rather than leaving voluntarily. I will not be making any other statements about the matter as far as I am concerned it is closed.

I'm sorry but that post absolutely stinks. If I don't have the facts, what are the facts I'm missing? So why was he warned, if not for the crap comment? How many complaints have you received? What were the complainants highlighting?

As for the suggestion that I value my opinion over your own, I have no understanding of how you have reached that conclusion. I suppose my opinion, as you've suggested in your closing comments, doesn't deserve a reply because in your mind the matter is closed.

I'd say what happened was poor moderation, by someone who supposedly isn't a moderator anymore, courtesy of anonymous complaints, and to top it all off he's not even willing to consider the view of other forum members.

Just seen a story - a man kept getting harassed by cold callers. So he changed his phone number to a 0871 number and as a result made £300 off the cold callers! Brilliant! <laugh>

But it's not just us...it's Europe as a whole. I am annoyed that they give the game to Qatar and then discover that it is too hot to play in the summer. If they had been up front about it, Qatar wouldn't have got the votes. Anyway it's our ball and we want it back <laugh>

Vale, you have real competition these days, for my support. Last time you mentioned anything about English football it involved Sheffield Wednesday, and that doesn't even register on my radar.
