Mikey, nice rant. I really like that people STILL are ignorant of his abilities. I wish the top managers in Europe were equally as ignorant.

It's going to be a big year for Morgan and with a World Cup around the corner, expect a lot of French pressure on him to move. If we don't really progress to expected levels, I think we could lose him next summer.

New Saint Wanyama with boss Mauricio Pochettino

NEVER realised I was so popular – okay, unpopular – in Southampton.
On the back of last week’s column I received a staggering 107 emails from Saints fans who were raging I’d described Victor Wanyama’s new employer as a yo-yo club.
They were almost as angry as Elizabeth-Anne Callaghan, a Celtic supporter, who seemed a bit miffed by my suggestion that Wanyama’s £12million transfer was only the second best bit of business in Scottish football after Davie Cooper’s 50 grand move to Motherwell in 1989.
A bit miffed? Ooyah! Good luck to Lizzie’s man if he ever returns home one Friday with a burst pay-poke. Anyway, I now realise I got it wrong, folks.
Wanyama’s move to Southampton was NOT the second-best deal after Coop’s switch to Fir Park.
Nah, he’s actually only THIRD on the list as I’d forgotten about World Cup winner Claudio Cannigia – a freebie at Dundee – moving to Rangers for £1m. Thanks to Ray Anderson for that nomination.

Hmm, he didn't revisit his other mistake of calling Saints a Yo-Yo club. 27 straight years in the top flight and 8 before that is hardly Yo-Yo'ing it. Here's to another even more extended stay.

Taylor Swift's "biggest fan contest" has been cancelled after a 39-year old man won. Ha.

Come on TSS, there are two Taylor Swift songs with an age in the title and GBS has nailed one of them. I'd hope you'd know more of Taylor Swift's incredible backlog :(

At any rate, my profile clearly says I'm 11.

I'm quite sure she has an incredible backlog. I'll leave her songs to when I'm a little more mature. I'm still working on XTC. :)
