What is the point in having a third umpire if he can't get that call right. Even on tv replays a casual supporter can see that that was not out. It will be sickening if we go on to lose this.
 
I don't think they've got much choice but to just let the rate get up here. See the spinners off, and back yourself to score 12 an over off the seamers.
 
And there you go, seamer comes on and we (just) get more runs than the require rate.
 
Sensible looking move from Dhoni to bring on Raina, even if he is only a part-time spinner.
 
I don't think it really matters when we take the two over PP, because I suspect it's fair to say that Ashwin and Jadeja will be bowling it.
 
This is largely why we (Hampshire) were so good at home in the 2011 t20s. If we won the toss, we basically won the game - because the opposition just wouldn't be able to touch our spin triplets when chasing our score.
 
I'm trying to decide whether we are doing ok at the moment. We are slowly getting the runs and Bopara and Morgan look fairly safe but I wonder when we need to start pushing up that run rate. The required rate is too close to 10 for me.

Ordinarily even this run rate would still not worry me yet. But Ashwin and Jadeja still have three overs between them to come. And that is a worry. Important 6 there!
 
Isn't Poyet doing the punditry on the Confed cup right now? Could be interesting to see his face at half time.
