Yeah, I'm hoping Sony go aggressive and go under the XboxOne price, but I'm not sure, the PS3 was $600 at launch. But that really hurt their sales so hopefully they'll learn with that and with the bonus of not packaging a Kinect-style thing with the console, they should be able to go a decent amount under £429.

Make you feel old????? What about this for feeling old: reading this lot reminds me of when Tomb Raider 2 was released on the PS1 and I was outside the shop before opening time ready to collect my pre-ordered copy.... I was your age Joe! Now that's way to make me feel old.

Btw, the following day, I didn't take my dressing gown off, did no work and got my ex to bring me food from the kitchen when she came in from work. I think it was around then that the relationship started to fall apart. Still think was just jealous of the ponytailed wonder in the hot pants!

I'm probably about 4 games behind. Just recently left it out to see if my 12 year old showed any interest.

Now that's my childhood. I got Tomb Raider 2 but it was too difficult for me at that age. That's around the same time the first Pokemon games came out, and I was absolutely obsessed. Zelda and Castlevania were other favourites of mine. I'm guessing TTSF was being born around that time if he remembers Battlefront (released in 2004!) with a similar degree of nostalgia.

So come on fellas, what are the top 3 most addictive games out there today? In my time, it was Tomb Raider and Championship Manager as FM was back then. They're probably the two that I was hooked on, although early Fifa games were up there too.

Today for me, FM is top, as can be seen with my high intelligence and lack of sex life. There's a game called Faster Than Light which is a lot of fun too, and then I used to love Team Fortress 2. TF2 was my childhood.

Going way back, it would be games like Pokemon, Super Mario, Croc and Spyro that I grew up with, before I moved onto the hard stuff.

Cheers, I'll look out for it. It does make you wonder if life is just a reality TV show. I'm guessing not though as I've been on long distance trips and been awake for them (the only long distance journey Truman did was to Mount Rushmore, which he spelt through; clearly he must have been given some kind of sleeping pill to make it seem like he'd travelled a long distance). Unless the dome is massive.

As for Tomb Raider, I remember playing the original at my best friends house. IIRC, the only weapons in the game were double pistols, double uzis and double magnums.

FM still is. Probably more so. It's a serious problem.

As for console games, Skyrim is the most gripping game I've ever bought, closely followed by the Fallout series. Good luck putting those down.

Ever play RCT3? It was pretty good, and you could actually ride the coasters. Gotta throw in a mention for SimCity 4 as well.

Bloody hell, I forgot the nintendo games. Super Mario on the first edition and then MarioKarts on Super Nintendo! Jeez, I had a girlfriend very early 90s who had a son (not mine). We bought him the first Nintendo for Xmas in the November and I opened it (just to check it was ok, obviously), then played it every night til Xmas to complete Super Mario Land.

    Yeah, they got me.

Did you ever play Super Smash Bros? It brought together all the "stars" from the Nintendo games and you just brawled with each other. That game was amazing.

Probably the closest I came to Mrs FLT filing for divorce. I was on it constantly, any free moment. I remember feeding babies in the early hours while trying to make substitutions during a game. I thought I was in big brownie points doing early hours feeds until she realised what I was up to.

In the end, she gave up the Soaps to get me off, as that was always my come back.
