It'll be my first real "the series has ended, what do I do with my life" moment with GoT. I'm also rapidly approaching the end of Archer and will feel similarly disappointed when I'm done with that - I hope S5 is soon?

That thought is keeping me sane, also there's loads of Breaking Bad episodes so it'll take me a while to get through them (hopefully). Same for The Wire.

When you finish those two, that's when you'll be in real trouble. There are very few series that come close to them in terms of quality.

    Season 1: Jan 2010 - Mar 2010
    Season 2: Jan 2011 - Mar 2011
    Season 3: Sep 2011 - Mar 2012
    Season 4: Jan 2013 - Apr 2013

So all the seasons started in January apart from S3, of which the first three episodes (which was the triple-episode "Heart of Archness" parts I, II and III) aired in September and then there was a long break until January before episode 4. Not looking good for more Archer in 2013, unless they perhaps do another triple-episode or some other kind of special. If the trend continues, the bulk of season 5 (if not all of it) will air in 2014. :(

Ahhhhh that's rubbish. Do you know if they're renewed past season 5? With like, Game of Thrones, you know they're going to renew it unless it goes majorly down **** creek, but you can never really tell with stuff like this - like when Futurama got cancelled twice :(

Season 5 is confirmed, but nothing past that. I think it's probably at the height of its popularity right now so I'd be very surprised to see it cancelled any time soon. Futurama just wasn't attracting viewers, which is a bit weird because season 8 was pretty good. I think people had just forgotten about it.

The Venture Bros. is worth watching, if you've never seen it. Fifth season just began...that's five seasons over nine years, so if you get hooked you're pretty much screwed after this season ends for another 2-3 years.

The only thing I found that has filled the void after watching The Wire, was to watch The Wire over and over again.

The Guardian's front-page is dominated by the huge story of the identity of The Guardian's whistleblower being revealed.

Then again, he's only in it for the advertising revenue. Seriously, the dude makes a fortune.

I've just watched this about 15 times in a row, and laughed myself silly every time. Theoretically he should have been fine if he wasn't touching any of the knife's metal, if not he is a prime contender for a Darwin Award.

My little brother put a spoon in the toaster once. It didn't blow up, but fused every single socket in the house. It was brilliant.
