Athletic Bilbao play their final game at San Mamés tonight. Let's hope the new stadium can recreate that atmosphere.

No doubt seen better days. They're gonna be in an absolute state next year with no Llorente or Amorebieta :(

Maybe the bigger stadium will enable them to pay their stars higher salaries in the future. They've been poor at the back for a while so I don't know if they've got any upcoming talents or if they're a bit screwed for next season. What happened to Jonas Ramalho? They're still decent up front, with Muniain, Aduriz, Isma Lopez and Ibai Gomez.

I'm not sure if there are many good Basque players outside of Bilbao, but I think Sociedad have a few so they could maybe bid for those.

Ramalho seems to have been usurped in the CB pecking order by Aymeric Laporte, who's actually pretty good, so I'm guessing Amorebieta's presence won't be missed as much. Aduriz had a decent season, but he's nowhere near the standard of Llorente.

I doubt any Sociedad players would move to Bilbao. The only one I know of who was actually good was Etxaberria.

The Sociedad lads are really good. Mikel Gonzalez, Inigo Martinez and Carlos Martinez. Maybe if Valencia win the battle for 4th place then those players could be tempted by the right offers. If they qualify for the Champions league though, they won't be going anywhere.

Ruben Pardo and Asier Illeramendi (spelling!?) too, the latter's in Spain's U21 squad for the Euros I think.

Oh. My. GOD.
