I don't read Kerrang magazine, but I highly doubt it promotes Muslim extremism. They're probably more concerned with what the frontman of Youmeatsix had for lunch.

Oooh Taylor Momsen on that cover though. She'd get it.

Hey guys,

I don't often post threads, but I just wondered if anyone was into walking dead? I am a keen fan of game of thrones and boardwalk empire and my friend just suggested this to me. I am halfway through the second series and I just wondered how fellow Saints fans would compare it to other great series that Sky has put out?

Joe, GBS, Dan - what did you make of the model from earlier?

Not great. Definitely would though.

Ermmmm... it's a long way behind Game of Thrones. It's good, so much potential, but there are too many annoying characters (Lori and Carl) and often the plot moves too slowly (see the second half of series 3). There are some amazing episodes in there though, some really brilliant stuff.

Isle of Man TT week is upon us again, for anyone who hasn't checked it out before, half a lap on board with Guy Martin...lunacy.

the walking dead is good for what it is, but i'd recommend a series like breaking bad or the wire over it

I always mean to get into TT races, because I live about half an hour down the road from where the North West 200 is run. Beautiful part of the world, that. Great roads.

I've always meant to go but have never got around to it, my grandfather raced it twice just after the war. Rooting for Josh Brookes to give it a good go in his first year as have ridden motocross with him in the past as he's a sound bloke. He set the fastest ever newcomers lap today with a 113mph average lap, not too shabby for a first go. Main thing is just to come home safe from your first ride over there I think!

This may seem silly, but being a bike rider, I connect with this too much, if anything. I am too acutely aware of how close these guys are to death, and it makes my toes curl. I find I can barely watch it. Lewis Hamilton attended the Le Mans MotoGP last week and when interviewed suggested that the track racing guys had balls of steel. Well he ought to see the road racing guys because they have balls of pure platinum. Even Valentino has said he'll never race the IOM TT. He rode round the circuit, following Ago, a few years back. He knows his limits. :)

A mate at work used to take his road bike to track day's was seriously into bikes until he started getting health issues, anyway my point , is I asked him if he ever thought of riding the track at that I O M, he said if he was younger and not married with children possibly , but not a chance as he did not want to leave his family without a husband / father.........
