Ok maybe he didn't do a particularly good job at City but Stoke is more of a Fulham or Blackburn type job anyway.

Robinho <doh>
Santa Cruz <doh>
Jo <doh>
Wright-Phillips <doh>
Ben-Haim <doh>

That's too many dohs. £82m-worth of dohs. Honestly I think his only good job was Blackburn, and I think he'll be poor for Stoke. They should go for someone like Owen Coyle.

Interestingly, it seems like it is between him and Steve Davis (of Crewe...) for the Wolves job.

Crewe fans will be so gutted if they lose Davis.

I was with a Wolves ST holder yesterday who told me two things:

!. Davis is a Wolves fan and they'd love him there.
2. He met Big Fat Sam the other week who told him he is a Wolves fan and wants to manage them before he finishes .... maybe they should appoint an interim at Wolves, just until Christmas.

Gibraltar are now a full member of UEFA and will now be allowed to enter qualifying for Euro 2016. <laugh> San Marino will no longer be the whipping boys.

I'm enjoying reading the QPR thread on Redknapp to Brighton, loads of them want him out now.

Yeah, is an enjoyable read. Even better, it's branched out into the rumours that Poyet is going to got to QPR, and most of them hating that too. Can see right through Harry's escape strategy - which started apparently directly after their budget meeting for next season. Even some of them saying Harry got Rosie to lay that turd in the Palace dressing room to frame Poyet and hurry his exit; others - more aware of who wears the trousers in that relationship - saying Rosie got Harry to do it (or rather, the spirit of Rosie got Harry to do it). A lot of hateful players and managers associated with QPR - that really is their biggest problem, there's a 'no clue' culture deeply ingrained withing their decision-making framework. Also read this from a poster (NorwayRanger) about Poyet:

Here is what Vicente said about Poyet:
“the worst person I’ve come across in football”.

The departing Spanish star has branded Poyet “selfish” and “egocentric”.

And he has accused the Uruguayan of mocking his players in training.

Vicente, who played in the Champions League and La Liga for Valencia and was capped 38 times by Spain, said “He is the worst person I’ve come across in football. “For example, he deceived me when he said I could go and then he didn’t let me. I was four months out injured and he wasn’t capable of coming up and asking how I was.

“For me he is a selfish person, very egocentric. I say that because it’s how I feel.

“I won’t talk badly about my team-mates, because they have been fantastic with me. What I think is unacceptable is that the manager makes fun of his players. I’ve seen things here that I have never seen in my career. If you miss with a shot in training, he makes fun. For me, that is unacceptable in football.”

This really made me laugh, check out this video from Robbie Williams... anyone recognise the site he is singing on...?

I watched it right through and found it quite entertaining.

So... as some of you likely know, Piers Morgan likes to rip into RVP on Twitter, calls him 'Van Pursestrings' and a traitor, and the like.

Today Piers Morgan received this from Manchester United...
