Isn't it Porto that have been the arseholes here? Surely Monaco wouldn't care about the clause, they had to pay the difference with what they paid for Rodriguez?

Think it is more in reference to Monaco's spending and how it may affect FFFP, in relation to UEFA.

Yes, but I would imagine Platini will be disapproving of the money Monaco are spending.
