You're lucky by time I get near retiring the retiring age will probably be 85.

Unless science has advanced so much by then that they can replace any aged body parts with new artificial ones, and therefore you don't feel the effects of age and are always physically capable of working.

The Government would love that, means they could scrap pension all together.

I didn't go to the race ,Loved the sport for years ( Starting with John watsons win at the British GP 1981 ) bought the F1 magazine BEFORE the race , so no glory hunting here ! , but didn't go to one for ages .

Old friends ( as in ex friends ) who were there and saw / Heard Roland hit the wall , knew right off he was dead .

Not many people where Ayrton died as not possible .

Just wish I had seen the master drive when he was still alive .

I think what happened was that a piece of the suspension/wheel somehow came up and hit his helmet, but then also pierced his visor and severed an artery or something like that.

Really need to get a new tv, I like the new Samsung one. Any one else got any tv's they think I should look at?

Schad , have you seen the Senna film ? JMB was a ****ing tyrant !! thought so at the time and this film proves it . " The correct decision is my decision " !!!!!

Yeah, I have. Scary any time someone is replaced by Max Mosley and it's an improvement.

I'm lucky not to have any memory of the crash; was eight at the time, and I'm fairly sure that I watched F1 then...my father was an open-wheeled race car driver at a far lower level, and F1 was a passion of his.

I have a Samsung E6800 46" TV and it really is awesome (: all the snazzy features though, WiFi, Smart TV, 3D, HD blah blah blah. Wasn't cheap though ):

Never had a Samsung tv always been a Sony guy. Are they reliable?

I am trying to think back, 37 years ago at around this time of day, something interesting and important happened, can anyone remember what it was?

Concensus seems to be Samsung or Panasonic , was days away from getting one of these - http://www.panasonic.co.uk/html/en_...D+TV/TX-L42DT65B/Overview/12209129/index.html

Then the car went POP !!

To be honest beef , no real bad sets out there any more , I have heard that LG are good but unreliable , so what ever you go for you will be pleased with .

Brand loyalty seems strong when it comes to TV's !

Part of The front suspension came into his Visor and basically smashed his brain in .

Sid watkins said as soon as he saw him he knew there was no hope , just try and treat him with the dignity he deserved , which is why i am pleased the BBC did not show the scene , just showed panned away shots and let Murray do the talking .
