The girl who invited me was very nice and attractive too, she isn't particularly weird just a bit geeky. But like I said, I don't think she's interested in anything more than being friends.....

Dude, where's the pub? I want to take Joe's advice and go tap a weirdo Brony girl. Maybe even the one you're talking about.

Well, Banana's snapped. I wasn't even saying anything...

He sent me an abusive DM a few months back when I said I didn't see the Pochettino appointment as necessarily terrible. He said only I would accept a decision like that because I'm a stupid boy who has to be a contrarian about everything. :(

Yeah but this has put a whole new spin on things...you didn't explain that she was away with the fairies.

Just tell he you want to screw her, girls that are into the whole fantasy, role playing malarkey are all as a rule extremely promiscuous, crack on!

(I accept no liability for my advice turning out to be BS)

I second this. Horse suit up, assert your male dominance and mount that sexy mare. Nothing can go wrong.

Yes, I can definitely see why someone who always has an unconventional opinion on everything would annoy him. That sounds exactly like the kind of think he would hate...

My unconventional opinions that 9/11 wasn't an inside job and Sandy Hook wasn't orchestrated by the FBI must drive him mad.

It's just like you can't accept the most rational explanation for anything.

On a rock climbing forum I go on there is a guy that is convinced that the vapour trails behind jet planes are chemicals called Chemtrails, being released by governments to cause cancer, control our minds, change the weather (delete as applicable) I've actually met the guy offline and he seemed like a balanced individual...I must be a **** judge of character!

Tell him that you believe in the heliocentric model and he'll have your head on a pike.

My ex's friend was a rock-climber who was convinced of that stuff, as well...made me watch Loose Change and got really annoyed when I wasn't buying it. Wonder if it's the chalk dust they inhale...?

Oh man, I hate that one. There's a similar one about chemicals in our tap water that make us stupid and complacent.

MMR doesn't cause autism either. But measles does cause death. And homeopathy doesn't cause anything to happen at all.

Okay, just been stalking the Brony forum and the thread relating to today's meet up and someone asked how the 'date' went (I didn't even realise it was a date) an asking if I was a keeper and she said:

That the date didn't go well but thankfully ***** and his friend 'rescued' her, she then went on to say it was awkward and silent until they came and sat with us

Well I'm sorry but they came over after like ten minutes of meeting her and you can't expect someone who had never met before to be talking like ****ing soulmates after just ten minutes, especially as I'd already mentioned to her beforehand that I'm not the most extrovert person ever (plus it wasn't THAT silent). I suppose she didn't say there's definitely no chance, but I think that's implied.

****sake. But at least that sets me up perfectly for being friend-zoned by the girl I've liked for a while. Yay. Why don't I just give up?

"Date went poorly! Thankfully ***** and his friend (I can't remember her username!) rescued me early! It was PRETTY awkward and silent until they came and sat with us."

If it was awkward then it's probably just as much her fault as it is yours. Takes two to be awkward.
