Years ago, I worked internet tech support for a major telecom here in Canada. Once got a call from a clearly-annoyed guy who said that his internet wasn't working, and he wanted to see why, whether it was an outage, cut for non-payment, etc. Couldn't find anything under his name, at which point he told me it was someone in his building, didn't know who, but he could give me the name of the wifi network if that would help.

So...this is probably a fake, but don't underestimate stupid.

it would have been sort of believable without the last part about spitting at children.
 
There's an absolutely ridiculous programme on Syfy at the moment. Robot Combat League. And no, it's nothing like Robot Wars. The robots are all humanoid, mostly bigger than humans and operated as by someone whose movements are mimicked by the robot, and they essentially pummel each other to pieces. Ridiculous.
 
Wigan have failed to sell more than 10,000 tickets for the FA Cup semi-Final on Sunday. They truly are the ultimate tinpot club. Embarrassing.
 
haha the problem with this thread. Things sink so quickly. That's now been brought up by about 5 different people over the last few days.
