I didn’t mind him when he joined us, He scored some big goals for us to be fair to him.
Derby winner I remember that, great pass from Giggs.
I can't stand him.
Shearer didn't start up north mind.
That's pre-Premier League, so it no longer exists. Apparently.
Thought you'd have liked who his debut hat trick was against?
Quite amusing looking back at his record breaking £3.6m transfer fee!
Sam Gallagher supposedly cost more this summer, making the same move.
It was over 25 years ago to be fair
Yeah he did... as a gk
And you lot couldn't spot his talent and turned him down...
Owen robbed a living off a number of clubs once he was broken.
Quite fitting that he ended up giving a large chunk of his ‘earnings’ to bookies.
I’d love to see him spunk the lot tbh.
True dat, even we missed him too but you lot always had a great rep back then for bringing the best out of young players..
One of my football coaches in my youth claimed he had coached Shearer at some point when Shearer was young. Told us what separated him apart from other kids of his age at the time (about 8 or 9 iirc) was that he could kick the ball dead straight, no movement left or right, just perfectly straight.
In the same training session about 4 of my team did the exact same thing. He was a **** coach
It used to get called a toe poke..
Where did that come from?
From a place called Rattled, I’d say.
If Kane said he wanted to join the Klopp revolution, you’d rip your cock off!
That would actually make him (and Shearer) mildly interesting.
