Well 20 years and a league title in four countries. England captain and player of the year how many times? Stupidly sent off once for kicking out. Interesting how it coincides with Ferguson hopping it. I think he'll be missed.

Seriously though - it is a bit weird when people call someone like Posh Spice a minger - she's clearly a very beautiful woman. And, going by interviews with the pair of them, she seems to be the brains of the operation.

She's so fake though. If you look at a photo from her during the spice girls days, it's evident how much work she's had done. And she's too skinny!
Where as Mel C is the opposite. She was more lesbian looking years ago, but is now looking amazing and the best she ever has.

I didn't expect so much frivolity and anti Beckham feeling when I started the thread. It's obviously a mistake so ops I think it's best you close it.
 
I don't get it.

He's been a fantastic servant to the england national team, regularly carrying them on his own (Greece springs to mind).
One of the best crossers of all time.
One of the best free kick takers of all time.
Model pro, could carry on playing, still looks supremely fit (physically, i'm not attracted to him personally)
Titles in 4 different countries, that doesn't happen unless you are a damn good player.
Not a complete nob like a lot of footballers. Loves his kids and wife and seems happy.
He may be a bit dim, but he has done a much better job of managing himself and making the most of his potential and marketability. Granted he would have had help with that but so do other footballers who don't do as good a job.
Gave his salary to charity, what other footballer has done that?

Wish the guy all the best. There aren't many footballers where i don't begrudge the fortunes they make but if any of them deserve it its Beckham.

Was a good player but its the whole media circus he'll be remembered for unfortunatley. I wouldn't put him in the same bracket as Giggs, Scholes as Utd legends
