I wept, Mr Henderson wept, anyone with a semblance of a heart wept.

The best NH horse of my lifetime is back but only because he is trained by the greatest trainer of anyone’s lifetime.

Sprinter Sacre has been bought back to perfection by the legend, the gentleman, the genius, the best ever, the forum’s favourite, the man with a brilliant brain and ‘magic hand’s, Mr Henderson.

And what do Cheltenham racecourse do in the face of such a man??? They name their new Grandstand after some Saxe-Coburg bint who only the most fervent of military men cares about!

Racecourse Executive admit your error and rename your sparkling new erection the ‘Mr Henderson Grandstand’ post haste. You know it makes sense...

A bit early in the day for talk of erections Sir Barney.

Must agree though on Sprinter Sacre, I was particularly misty-eyed myself. Got a nice little ante post voucher at 14/1 about him re the Champion Chase next March .............. you know, the race named after the Queen Mother ;)

Well what can one say? The poor dear is the victim of a man's world. Talk about glass ceilings, the lady should be the next in line for the throne, but no, Chilla gets a huge leg up and walks straight into the big job. She get's her name on a bloody grandstand ..... big ****in' deal. She should have told 'em to whack it up their arse. :)

<laugh> Goddamn it, you beat me to it, Ron. Oh yes, but I am weeping uncontrollably, and laughing with joy at the same time.

Seriously, I am so glad this great racehorse is back on song. Frankly, before his serious illness, my grandma could have trained him.

P.S......and what are you calling it, Ron?

A miracle?

Nothing wrong with Saxe Coburg bints as long as they are a touch younger, say under sixty, and reside in Saxe Coburg!!!!!

Stunning comeback and a great return to form for the horse. I doubted we'd ever see it. After spouting blarney for 18months, at last old boy Hendo was right.... <runs>

Found it quite humorous to see this evening Mr Nicholls comes out to say Dodging Bullets was 'dodging' the Tingle Creek, funnily a day after Sprinter crushes them!

Sprinter back?

Won`t get within 10l of UDS in any race!
Funny coz Gods Own got within 6 of UDS In the arkle and the way Sprinter Jumped that last open ditch that was the old sprinter back- I'm not saying he will definately win but I'm not saying he will definately lose either UDS jumping does let him down an is his weakness and giving that much distance and room to a horse like sprinter who's strength is his jumping then he will struggle! Both horses will need to be 100% and let's hope they are as it will be some race
