Right... I wasn’t going to come back on here and i haven’t even looked at the board for 3 weeks but when a mate told me there was a thread about me then obvs I was intrigued.
Few things:
1) Yes it was me.
2) What they didn’t show - perhaps it makes better tv and gets the Twitter reaction they wanted? - was that i immediately and confidently chose the middle £6k option. At this point Brad (we’re mates) had a 90 second monologue about how teams in that position so often make that mistake, then the last player gets knocked-out and they lose the extra step you get for all 4 being home as well as the general knowledge of another player. He must’ve said about 5 times “70% of something is better than 100% of nothing”.
3) The whole team then agreed with Brad and we collectively made the decision to go for the minus offer.
4) At the end after we’d won, Brad (we’re mates) made another lengthy speech about how if we hadn’t had the extra step of me being home, plus the 3 i alone knew in the final round (Papua New Guinea, Spain and Status Quo) then the Chaser would've caught us and how i therefore 100% made the correct decision. Again they obvs didnt show this.
5) I don’t regret the decision to go low for 1 second. The regret i have is the amazing Colin not going high, he could've defo banked the 40k.
6) That was filmed at 7am on a Monday morning in the midst of winter and it was ****ing freezing on set. I got put up in a really ****ty Elstree hotel and got zero sleep the night before. I’m surprised how young i looked, make-up works wonders.
7) How the **** do you people remember so much about me? Someone even recalled I said i had previously been mistake for Olly Murs. I don’t remember anything anyone ever said about themselves. What’s wrong with you people?

Nah not at all, I’m mildly miffed with the production company but I get it makes for better tv. I tell you what about Brad, he’s a sweary bugger. I think his first words on set were “you fackin cant”.

Just in the name of accuracy, the last time you logged on here, ahead of looking at the thread last night, was 10.17am yesterday.

I don’t think I said i got ‘mistaken’ for him, i’ve been told i look like him on many occasions. I can’t see it either.

I don’t know why you felt the need to bring it up when there’s a perfectly logical and reasonsble explanation why it shows i’ve been on the forum. Bit pathetic really.

For the record, we don’t have a log of every time posters log on the site. We just click on a poster and it tells us when they last logged on, or if they’re currently logged on, which thread they’re viewing.
