Dull in that every time Fistian brought it up (daily) i wiped the ****ing floor with him with facts, the final straw being when i proved Rio had been done for the same E3(2) as Suarez and Terry after half your board had tried to deny it.

So yes, I'm tedious, but i am right and you gobshites just can't stand being corrected. Yet you, Swarbs and Alan are never off our boards - oh for the old 606 facilty of being able to **** you off my threads! :emoticon-0112-wonde

Not even going to bother with that one.
It looks like someone cut out some words, threw them up in the air and copied them out the way they landed.

If two cliques merged, would it be a double-clique?

Political cliques could be Left clique and Right clique. I hate ****ing computers <ok>

You proved nothing Donga, only in your head.

But, let's not go into that, eh?

What I take issue with is this idea that 'your' board should be closed to supporters of other clubs just because we might disagree with what you spout.

To be honest, I was under the impression the whole board was part of the Liverpool clique. That's the only clique present here. It's the United posters that should feel left out.

This 'clique' stuff is a crock of ****. As someone has suggested earlier it's not a clique if you post an opinion and ten people post back seperately that they think its bollox. They didn't get into smoke filled rooms to hatch a conspiracy to contradict one poster. They are also not mindless sheep; that have been given their instructions by some powerful overlord nor are they all spoonfed their opinions by the media. These are all theories that make you feel better for being the odd one out, for having an opinon that bucks the trend. Does it make you wrong? not unless empirical evidence suggests overwhelmingly that you are; but if you are one of the few to hold that opinon and you express it? get a tough skin and remember that each person countering you is doing so as an individual trying to engage, not a group trying to subdue. Sorry but I think thats much more liekly than 25 faceless strangers somehow conspiring to single you out.

With 'other' supporters this might be twisted slightly. Yes the automatic reaction might be to treat comments, paticularly negative ones from opposing supporters as a intentional windup with no actual content. As Eric suggests it's how you write it and a judgement call on our part based on whether you are known for only posting negative things about our team. in this way you are eventually treated no different than our own. MFG is being criticised by some (including me) for appearing to have not one positive to say about LFC, so will an opposing fan. That doesn't mean there is nothing negative to say about LFC. ****, we've had nothing but for the last few years and this board has been full of varying degrees of crticism.

I personally will not support an anti manc etc blanket approach just for the sake of it. If a United poster is talking sense, his loyalties do not mean that I will accept an opinon I believe is wrong from a fellow LFC supporter just because it's against a manc. Thats ludicrous. The other side of that is using the more "optimistic" of us as an excuse to repeatedly post on this board "Liverpool are crap/have beens " Say it once? its an opinon and at the moment probably a valid one, say it 12 times on various threads with various topics? I'll personally call WUM. Others might not.

And while I'm ranting: Can we put to bed this Armchair/Plastic fan nonsense as well. There are millions of Liverpool fans in dozens of countries and only forty odd thousand seats at Anfield. Do the math. Whether you like it or not football is a global brand and that star striker you've got was paid for by the armchair fan. TV gives the millions, not the pie and coke. Obviously people from the city know more about the history having lived there but I bet for every local fan who has the encyclopeaidic knowledge there are 3 that don't give a crap about who played in the 2nd eleven in 1911 and what house they lived in. I'm sure I could also find a fanatic from Botswana who could tell you what colour the door of that house was.

Having read Tobes posts I can see if you wanted a return like he seems to to a very localised support, with born and bred players. I can see the merit in these views and logic and attraction in regaining a local identity to the clubs that commercialisation has destroyed but as nice as that idea is, its never going back there. Thats a nice "old england" nostalgia but it is never going to happen.

So on that basis, the internet is the way LFC supporters from outside of the city can connect, share enthusiasm and yes even argue and debate that they can not do for varying reasons in the local down the road from the stadium before or after the match. You guys that can are already special for being able to do that, we "outsiders/armchairs" don't intefere with that so why should you tell us we shouldn't be on the only forum available to us? You can **** right off.

So there, I apparently have disagreed with at least 5 posters on this thread. If they all come back saying I'm talking ****e I'm not going to assume that they all PM'ed each other and said lets get rid of that Frank twat. I'm going to think all 5 have various reasons for calling me a twat and all 5 could very well be right. Let the twatting commence! <laugh>

  17. Yes, I know that but I was talking more about when they make a comment within a thread and don't get a direct response (which happens to all of us). This cana ppear as though you are not involved because you are an outsider (I've been there on the old 606)
