The BBC really not letting this Ched Evans thing go: http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/30698618

While it's a serious subject, this is just ridiculous. Fair play that most of the clubs refused to comment.

I find it interesting that while most clubs simply tried to say nicely go away you stupid reporter those who said they would not were put up in bold letters.

the most interesting i saw was

"Sheffield United: Previously considered allowing Evans to train with them. Retracted their offer following protests from, amongst others, sponsors and Olympic champion Jessica Ennis-Hill."

as a direct quote it's obvious they simply rehashed stories to show how bad sheff utd got hounded and never picked up a phone in this particular instance. that leads me to wonder how many did they actually contact and how many did they simply google what local press asked of these clubs.

I don't think that is a direct quote MITO. I think the ones in bold may be the ones that had previously ruled out signing Evans, but haven't verified this.

some in bold read like they are people stating their position directly and this one reads totally differently.

the article says it contacted league one and two clubs.

They had 7-8 different articles about him in 3 days

Rojo has been tweeting pictures and quotes of a murdering drug dealer

[HASHTAG]#bbcsalford[/HASHTAG] seems to have missed it completely (and so the FA too)

Anti-Evans protestors have threatened the families of Oldham staff and succeeded in getting the deal called off
