I remember that Newcastle one from Xabi, and to a man the Clog-Sparkers and their media said the goalie was at fault. FFS, if the West Ham goalie had just watched the ball and moved a yard to his 7 o'clock he could have caught that one yesterday.

Like I said in the other thread, when the ball comes from such a distance with no distractions and bounces before it gets to the goal line, it can't be considered anything but (effectively) an own goal by the keeper

Also, it didn't even lob the keeper, the keeper stepped to the side of it

Did Rednose The Racist just say that Rooney's goal was special because 'It had only been done once before, by Beckham'? FFS, apart from Xabi doing it twice, Luis once ..... and didn't some Wigan player do it too a few seasons back? Didn't Matt Taylor as well?

The manc nepotism in all aspects of BBC in the Northwest is rife, their local radio personell are always first to promotion to radio 5 and TV work etc.

But as this season shows they can't airbrush us out no matter how hard they try.<laugh>
 
As long as they keep leaving us out of the race that's fine by me.
However, Rudolph's assertion that it had only been done once before is outrageously wrong and a supposedly unbiased organ such as the beeb should make that plain.
I was only half listening to the daft bugger tbh, but didn't he say Wazza's was better than Tettey's because he didn't have any time to look?

They make liverpool tv look like the abl channel.

Because a Liverpool fan complained to tge liverpool fan moderators on liverpool 606.
