He did a very good job for us in the season before last, building up a good partnership with Michael Dawson and playing 38 games in total in a fairly solid defence.
Last season he fell out of favour, was picked far less and it appeared to hurt his confidence.
He's still got the potential to be a very good defender, in my opinion.
Stick him alongside an old-school centre-half with decent leadership qualities and he wouldn't let you down.
Would he join Wolves?
Not sure.
There are rumours that Stoke are interested in him too, which might suit him more as they have Europa League football and finished higher in the table.
