BREAKING: Joey Barton not going to London for QPR talks, but for romantic get away with Senderos #comeagain? #NUFC

<laugh>!

Didn't he use tha quote the other week when Pardew refered to building bridges with Barton??

Yeh he did. Probably using Brunel's name tongue in cheek. Cos he obviously has failed at building bridges.

Question. Why would slimey David ****ing Craig be going? Urgh, I hate that man.

Hmm... Not sure what to make of that. Is the guy trustworthy though? Just 941 followers.

If you look he mentioned Joey Barton was at the train station before SSN mentioned the story i think...

Well thats that then, probably best that he goes. In the last couple of games I haven't been all that impressed with his usually excellent dead ball skills. In fact at the Arsenal game it was pretty terrible, if he hadn't been involved in 'slapgate' I'm sure a lot more analysis of his pretty dire play on the day would have been going on. I'm not sure I ever saw any of his corners on that day get past the first man!

I'm completely with Joey on this one and I can't understand people who are turning on him.
He made a mistake and was punished...So he tried to redeem himself by putting in some top performances and helping us off to a good start but still we try to force him out.

Its ****ing ridiculous.

Also, Cabaye did mention it was still a little tense with him about, could be a good thing in the long run.

Exactly! The club don't want him so what's he supposed to do? He wants to play for England again and he's not going to get that at a club where his future is uncertain

Are footballers ****ing wimps these days?

They get told by the owners that they aren't wanted, despite hundreds of thousands of NUFC fans wanting them, yet they still crawl away like emotionally wounded animals. It's like a girlfriend has just dumped them.

Mike Ashley is not NUFC. He's the owner. The most important people at the club, the fans, want him to stay, and that's all should matter. If Barton can't see that, then maybe he should just go.

Mate, do you really think he has been all that special in the last two games? I'm a big fan of Joeys but I think that in the last two games it was clear that all was not right.

If he leaves I will lose all my respect for him.

Nobody will point a gun to his head and tell him to leave and Pardew has proven that if he wants to stay , he will be in his starting XI.
