On one hand I hate MA and DL for the way they are running the club.
But the thing is where are these organisation that many fans put there hope and money into buying the club. In my mind they are letting the fans down more than anything with their silence
But on the other I feel let down by Joey. Would Rob Lee come out on a social network slagging off Sir John Hall if it was around. He should have kept his head down and focused on the new season.

It's an absolute disgrace - I know players are possibly in the wrong to publicly criticise the club like that but there is no way in hell that any player deserves to be treated like that. I wonder what Pardew thought? He wanted Joey to stay, more than any of us, did he just have no say whatsoever?

in case you want to know, 1 midlands club and 2 london clubs have enquired for him already, the midlands club is 99% Villa and if bookie are to be believed the london clubs are Spurs (believable) and Arsenal (not so much), not too sure myself
yep my dads away in spain and he rung me about the news asking me if any of my freinds want his season ticket (its only a reaction he wants it really) but he was saying how its a disgrace to the fans how the club is handled and its getting beyond a joke now

Are you serious? Where do you get off calling everyone dickheads and scum? It's a forum for everyone's opinion not just yours. Something has to be done? Like what you massive tosser? Kind of difficult though when you have a short career which you've already wasted and the club you currently play for no longer wants you though Overseas? I'm sure Barton would love to give something back. I've always doubted this reformed stuff and hold my hands up I wanted him out a while back. But I'll also hold my hands up and say he has reformed. He impressed me both while injured in the championship with his attitude, and also last year when fit, putting in the hard yards for the club. I like many believe that is the minimum when pulling on the shirt, but Barton brings quality too. This has all stemmed from the clubs actions. He is not innocent and I'd preferred he stayed away from Twitter. If I was his agent I would have persuaded him to release one statement at the start revealing all. Then no one can say after he goes, "so he says". I believe the hierarchy are not creating the correct environment and atmosphere for a united squad. The cynical would probably say that they are doing it deliberately because it cuts costs. They may well be but there are better more transparent ways to go about it. It is either that or they are still struggling with the mechanics of a football club, marrying business with sporting aspirations.
