Daniel Stendel is German and within the equality act 2010, nationality is classified as race under section 9(1)b. Therefore although Jb and ds are of the same race in appearance, this would not mean that Jb could not be accused of racism against ds (that is on the massive assumption that it was Jb that was arrested, which I don't think has been confirmed).

Given that the matter is not fully closed, it would be inappropriate for joey Barton to take to sicial media to deny the allegations made. Surely that is what all lawyers tell their clients!!!

It takes time to build a case and they'll have photos of any alleged injuries. They need to gather evidence, appeal for footage or witnesses and trawl through CCTV, questioning, interviewing, loads of stuff that if they don't do properly there won't even be charges, let alone a trial. Not to mention, it wouldn't be a particularly fair trial if the alleged victim was all cuts and bruises.
