Really am enjoying his role in the side recently i like the fact that NP is using him as an impact sub, On he comes after mclean has ran them ragged and picks them off with his passing ability for fryatt.

And i think he is looking in best shape for sometime!

I'll agree to that mate.Don't think TWF would though.

makes a massive difference when he comes on..even if we are playing well, we play even better after..we wouldnt have won 5-1 if he didnt come on last week, his movement and runs created 2 of the goals...his effort putsone or two to shame..
probably deserves a start on recent form but maybe wouldnt have the same impact...

Barmby,s doing a great job as an impact sub but lets not forget he,s 36 and all good things come to an end , usually by the time there 38

He is really good when he's not tired - using him as an impact sub is a really great idea by NP. He tries his best all the time, and when the crowd used to get really frustrated back in the prem, so did he, sprinted for the ball even if he wasn't likely to win it.

apart from the "loyaltigerbrian" style of typing you can stuff the ageism where the sun don't shine.. nicely of course!

Nothing to do with ageism, more to do with the reality that he is coming to the end of his career (well playing career). I know he would bleed black and amber, and he,s done really well for his self while wearing the shirt. But with the best will in the world he would struggle playing 90 mins week in and week out.

Earlier in the season, when I had the impression the deadwood were stealing our money under false pretences, Young Mr Barmby showed them what football is all about, combine that with the fact he was on the pich at Wembley when we got promoted and there is every reason to give him respect.

you know what Dean that comment could have come back to haunt you!!!!He is Hull through and through and if the club could have afforded him then i think he would have jumped at the chance :emoticon-0111-blush

So Hull through and through, that he played for Leeds. Apparently our big rivals.

what an absolute knob you are TWF... nothing to do with opinions... you're a tit. the team is doing better than any of us could have dreamed of only a few months ago and all you have done is ****ing moan. **** me sort yourself out. Go smoke something or find a girlfriend. why the **** do you only point out negatives?
