Either way OLM we need to be rid of the Allams in double quick time.. the old man's just bonkers and the son hasn't got a clue and is acting as daddys poodle.

If you're reading this Allams, this isnt the way to do business with the football community. You shoud hang your heads in shame.

They are in for a severe rude awakening and that's putting it mildly - fooking off down sarth like Bartlett and Duffen is one thing but acting in this manner as local businessmen - well you couldn't fooking make it up..

Problem is, they're treating it like any other business, where if an employee annoys you, you simply sack them.

This is a football club, these are local heroes, they've no idea what they've done, though I suspect they're about to find out.

I hope they have plenty of fire extinguishers in Melton...

I see it this way.

The Allams didn't get the stadium and grounds so they try bluffing with 'Melton', it doesn't work. Being big squash fans their priority is the sports village and behold, another (rugby) club in the east, has loads of development land around it. Their interest in City dwindles and they won't invest further and Nick said from the off he would only do the job if he was backed for success and pushed the issue. It had to end in tears one way or another.

I wonder if the Milliband visit was the last roll of the dice to get backing over the council's heads?

If they were really miffed about Barmby's comments to the press (which seemed fine to me), then they'd get a hell of a rude awakening if they appointed Billy Davies of all people. He must be the most rebellious manager out there.

D'ya know when they bought the club I remember thinking "Thank God, we're saved! And they're local so they won't fcuk us over or they'll find their windows put through!"

Gallows humour again......still not working.

Believe it or not that is what i was told today.
They'd have to take a big hit, it's not worth anything like what they paid for it, so I doubt that's true.

maybe so , but like i said, only repeating what i heard from within the club. If they cant get their hand on the KC and surrounding area and no intention of spending more money on the club, then whats next for them to do. Maybe its just scaremongering from them again , like moving to Melton.

Nothing new. i did advise beginning of April . that the 'for sale' sign was up .

Blimey OLM, whilst accepting the fact that the old man may be bonkers and thinks thats the way to do business, surely his son has some nous and is aware of the likely repercussions of these stupid stupid actions.

They have lost all credibility locally in one fell swoop and should be looking at relocating their business at least 50 miles away. Martin Fish and Christopher Needler were hounded out by 4000 fans and a simliar fate awaits the Allams but this time there are 19000 of us, mark my words...

Ive said it time and time again and constantly have to point out that the Mirror are second to none when it comes to scoops about City. I'm not saying they're right here but an insignificant error (it doesnt matter what relations they are in the context of this story) written in a quickley run online story does not mean the story is bollocks.

it possibly suggests that adam pearson or nicky barmby has consistently been the Mirrors source?

I smell a protest, feel for nick, ending his career early to become manager and to be sacked for f all, bet he's hurt big time from this, u won't find a bloke who cares more, not happy

Lammie - i told u adam was not happy and was running his contract down.
Another load of redundancies announced soon as well.
Its carnage!!!

Dear o dear mr allam suspending/sacking a city legend for seemingly nothing is nothing short of suicidal from which they will never recover the sooner they sell up the better

OLM glad you have cottoned on to the way the Allams work, didn't I say ages ago that they were running it like a business and it wasn't the way to go about things, not gloating by the way just glad other people are beginning to see the light. I really do think that Mr Allam senior is bonkers though, he does come across that way. They just didn't have a clue what reaction they were going to get though did they with that stupid non statement as well. See what tomorrow brings but I just don't see how they can ever come out of this with any credit, the trust in them has gone out of the window now.
