I will defend the one on Colo as he did not aim for the man - his eyes were on the ball - Coloccini did not need treatment at all for this - he got up and managed somehow to recover shortly after Bardsley had been sent off - Miraculous?
Can't defend the one on Mata - looks like a stamp to me - but I also saw much worse from Kevin Davies at the weekend and he didn't even get a card (and the referee saw it) - it injured Tom Cleverley for 3 or 4 weeks and he never even got carded in any way - the ref didn't see Bardsley's so he couldn't send him off for it. The points we are making on here is that a large number of high profile players get away with things that are as bad or worse than what bardsley did - if that had been John Terry "stepping over" Sessegnon I'd be surprised if the FA even looked at it more than once - even if the ref's report did say he hadn't seen it - I don't think the FA have bottle unless it's a so called "lesser club"
We will never play on an even playing surface as the Sky Money 4 or 5 will always take preference over the also rans of this world

Exactly. No retrospective punishment either for that.
