But they won’t be alone in paying those type of wages but are probably the worst example when taking into account their €1B debt.

It's funny that the De Jong saga drags on. EtH looked a man strippped of any power or authority when he was interviewed today. Man U players leaving the ground before the final whistle at a friendly, to being asked how his incomings are going. Looked helpless.
That’s a soap opera waiting for the curtain.
If he doesn’t hit the ground running he is ****ed.

On the other hand, agents know it’s Barca and they pay other players big money. Add in the pressure to continue to compete with Madrid and rest of Europe and they get desperate
**** me, is De Jong really a half a million pound a week player? Alba, Biscuits and Lewandowski aren’t gonna be able to command that fee for much more than 2-3 seasons I would have thought so I really hope they go ****ing tits up before that…chances are they’ll add more big names to that list before then tho…not sure how the **** they can continue to sign player and pay them these types of astronomical wages whilst being so much in the ****!

Allegedly, their commercial income this year is about £700m. From an article, it's claimed "the club added 11 new sponsorship partners. The overall income from this department is likely to reach €310m. This includes a recent deal with online sales platform GOAT, which will bring in €50m over three years, as the team’s sleeve sponsor. Qatar Airways is also set to become the main shirt sponsor for €60m-€70m a season."
Timing looks perfect - the new Saudi airline, PIF funded, is due to be named this year and as such will require a massive brand identity. From what I read, Saudia is actually quite small (in airline terms) and the goal from the new airline is to be a major player offering a lot more versatility, inter-region, far east, etc.
Long story short, we'll be PSG eventually. So let's not cry too much about it now, else we'll be inundated with screenshots in a few years time.....

Those wages are massive compared to ours ASM is on a pittance in comparison
