Allocation to ball numbers appears to be completely random for this round. We are ball 2 for some reason.

I'll take any lower league team at home. We need the revenue from a cup run.

From everything Hoos has said my understanding is that we lose money from each game we put on at Loftus Road. I'd guess we lose even more from a cup game with a 6k crowd.

I think prize money was £135k for a third round win and £180k for winning the fourth round and £360k for winning the fifth round. Also get £150k for being selected for live coverage. Better still, from 3rd round onwards, 45% of gate receipts are divided between clubs. So ideally, to maximise ££ we would want to beat Man U away in the fifth round live on telly.

Back in the real world I'll take a scrappy 1-0 win at home against Reading in the fourth round!

Scousers or Scum at HQ, get on tv and the chance of an upset
If that happens they may end up taking Eze, BOS and Chair back with them. I'd prefer we stay under the radar with a non live TV game with the likes of Barnsley or Bristol Rovers, and save Man U, C, Liverpool etc until after the window is firmly locked.

More than likely the only upset would be us getting spanked...plus our better players being on display for all the world to see, and being made to look distinctively average.

Usually happens on Sky, we've got Brentford and Leeds up next...<doh>

Also just announced Swansea away in Feb...
