I like Ozturk because he knows how to 'handle' League One attackers although he's strictly a defender.
The other defenders, and midfield, will have to be aware that he'll only occupy a very limited area of the pitch.
As I've said elsewhere I believe we have better cover than most other teams as the heavy pitches and suspensions kick in.

We were warned he was a good player but hindered by injuries, at least we got some great results with him in the side... just as well we have Ozturk for the rest of the season
Shame for the lad as he looked a quality player.
Ozturk is a decent replacement for him, unless the gaffer thinks the central role suits Flannagen and then Lynch comes in to the left?

I have always felt that the downside with Ozturk is that there are a couple of red cards in him .. he has been very close on a number of rash occasions where he could have been sent off. He is a good defender but has a hot-headed side to him.
That being said, I hope I am wrong and he has a fantastic remainder to the season for all our sakes.

I agree up to a point, he'd be sent off if he was playing in the PL.
However, he seems to know just how far to go in L1 so gets away with it ...
... he certainly doesn't shy away from a challenge!
Yeah Smug, that's a fair point .. I just remember wincing at a few of his 'last man standing' challenges and thinking you're off bonny lad!
The ref's have about as much awareness as a corpse in this league so let's hope he gets a good consistent run in the team.
Yes I know what you mean, who was that CB of ours a few years ago, swung his foot hard to make a clearance and it flashed into our net South End iirc...similar to Ozturk?

Be a big miss imo. Although ozturk should be an able deputy. Just don't want any more injuries like this.
With that in mind his game time should have been more limited instead of starting and finishing every single game. Going from hardly playing for Bristol City to suddenly playing 2 games every week, it would have been nice if abit of common sense was adhered.
Were now potentially going to have to finish the season and try and gain promotion without our best Defender.
Its like pulling a smart looking lass thats been single a while and expecting her to let you shag her every single night.
On the odd occasion you should expect her to have a night off to recover, especially if shes tired, like Wright obviously was.
