Came on as a late sub.

Meyler played because of an injury during the warm up.

Apart from that you make some good points.

The last 3 managers haven't done us any favours ......... let's hope Poyet can steady the ship.

To be fair Swansea don't look a patch on last season do they, on that performance they'll be in the mix in May.

i can say from experience a ship quarter full of water is very steady, never mind full of sewage

Cambell or Fletch and Alti? Personally I don't miss Cambell at all. He's no where near what we need now.
Flech is proven so no debate there for me. So on the striker front that leaves Altidore.
I've just got a feeling that he will come good very soon. His hold up play from what I've have seen is bang on and there's a hint of a partnership emerging with Fletcher which given time I'm sure will lead to goals. No doubt he's been disappointing goal wise but he has also been undeniably unlucky thus far.
I've seen enough the last two games (Hull second half) to suggest we will be ok. Many teams come up and turn the record books on the head for the first ten to fifteen games then fade to nothing. Look at Hull sitting in tenth. I bet they are 16-19th come May.
We got some catching up to do but teams like Hull, Norwich, Palace etc will find it a very, very long winter.

damm shame about this last game as gus never had the chance to change anything in regards to the set up at half time ,our bench was strong and im sure we could have gone on to win it from a goal down
