Yeah, I was surprised to see it there as well. Who's the motoGP supplier? I suppose if all motorsport is complaining about the same issue, then at least it's not a reason why you'd watch one over another. Having said that, I really don't see the need for high deg tyres in motoGP. They were introduced in F1 to help with overtaking, but that isn't a problem with bikes, if anything the current tyres are reducing overtaking and racing.
I didn't think they had high deg tyres in MotoGP, I thought they couldn't grip properly at large lean angles causing riders to slide out. I only saw about 10 laps at the beginning though, did they have degradation problems too?

I reckon behind closed doors a few high profile drivers here and there have threatened to leave F1 if this tyre format remains and that they will leave to WEC if it continues.

If you had 22 cars trying to make a one-stopper work, nobody would be able to race for fear of wrecking the tyres, That's really my point.
