(staying with some friend in Preston, hence the early return).

Let's be honest, that was a very, very poor perfomance. Blackburn definitely deserved more and after having over 30 shots, are bound to feel hard done by. However, do I care a jot? Nope. A win like that is all the more satisying.

The atmosphere was pretty subdued, especially second half, but that was probably to do with the team's perfomance and nerves. Had a row with some racist idiot behind me, who thought it hilarious to call Hoillett/Shola/Blackburn's number 9/anyone with skin darker than his a "black c*nt" for 90 minutes.

Massive shout out to Perch, who, after some ironic cheers for a decent pass early on, won the crowd over with a genuninely brilliant display. Pardew had to change at half time, the 433 really wasn't working - Jonas doesn't convice me centrally. Felt a bit sorry for Hatem, but someone had to go off and he hadn't played well.

5th in the league, DoubleDemba back. With Ba in the team I really think we will beat Villa. The amount he adds to our team, aside from goals is huge.

(also, **** Hoillett for his ridiculous dive in the first half. Not suprised Raylor was upset)
 
I was thinking the exact same thing about Phil Dowd...Remembering the 4-4 against Arsenal, to be frank the Willo Pen was soft...and yesterday I was convinced, he plays to the home...............

Pederson was not in the game at all yesterday, the cheating prick.

Thought most of the Blackburn team were pissed the way they kept falling down, pen was Very soft.

Surely its things like that that should get immediate 3 match bans. Not only did he quite clearly dive, but there was no chance of contact and he appealed vigorously for it.

Hate diving but find it hard to overly criticise other teams when we have Jonas. Mind he makes it look much more real than Hoilett or vid above. Then again he was taught it as part of his footballing education so he should be better at it.

True, but its rare that Jonas goes down without any contact, he draws fouls really well and looks for freekicks, Pederson and Hoilett went down under zero contact!
