Reading some of the idiotic West Ham 'fans' views on Ba on Facebook/ Twitter saddens me - "money grabbing bastard" - yeah, because going to a club who are offering LESS wages is money grabbing. <doh>

I forgot how awesome his header was against Liverpool, don't know how he managed to direct that.

Really looking forward to seeing him compete with hopefully another 1 or 2 good strikers for a starting place.

    Re: the knee.

"Sportsmail understands West Ham only agreed to sign Ba after structuring a deal that will see the Hammers pay Hoffenheim based on the number of games he plays. The very mention of a problematic knee was the trigger for Ba, just for a moment, to depart from his cool exterior.

    He insisted:
'I don't know why we are still talking about it. The knee is fine. I had surgery and the rehab didn't go as well as it should. So it's completely normal the knee isn't 100 per cent. But I can play football, I know how to manage it.' "

I agree it was a really special header, the way he jerked his head to generate the direction was immense and his body sort of looked like a fish it was a close range header but looked so cool.

btw just before anyone else can say it "jerked his head" lololol dat is rude
