No Aneke to score the goals and unsettle the Fleetwood defence, so our defence had better tighten up. If not, Steve Brown is on the Valley Pass to analyse where it all went wrong. Just like when he was playing, he doesn't hold back. For my money DJ didn't do enough to get a start, and I wouldn't be surprised if Ben Watson gets a game alongside Pratley. The fans wouldn't be happy, but anything that stops our gradual slide down the table will be welcomed at 5 pm.
we need to go 4-5-1. extra midfielder to protect/make up for pearce's inclusion. or, if he doesnt f up, to help us attack. we so badly need 3 points.
Four four fooking two with wingers, Stockley and Schwartz. Or a narrow wingless wonders, with Pratley and Watson sitting behind Morgan and Millar.
He's playing for a starting place. Aneke is our best forward, and doesn't seem to have fitness problems, so it would take a very good performance by the Schwartz/Stockley partnership for them to keep him ahrt. Fleetwood are in terrible form, and we usually give a hand up to teams out of form.
Two teams out of form, it's unlikely to be a classic. There will still be plenty of nail-biting moments, ie every time the ball gets near our box. Let's hope the improvements TS has made in the medical department mean Famewo is fit.
No Ched Evans to score against us tomorrow. He went to Preston. So it will be someone else. I hope we get the first goal. I think we normally do quite well after we score first. At least that’s what Curbs said.
I think scoring first is generally regarded as a good step towards winning the game Maybe OGS disagrees though.
That's a scary revelation. If we want top 6 we'll have to begin a run of wins tomorrow, whoever scores first
I think scoring more goals than your opponents is really helpful to , in fact it’s hard to remember when we haven’t won when we’ve done this
