The folly of picking Academy players to hit stupid KPI’s was again very evident tonight. If Karoy Anderson carries on like this his career progression risks being damaged. It’s very difficult to believe that he keeps starting games based on merit - he is basically delivering the same type of performance in each game.

Overall, the starting X1 is still 3-4 players short in terms of having any chance of promotion.

What a folly to turn the gaps off in early July after signing Docherty (who is poor…)

I must confess gentlemen I had a generous supper then fell asleep in front of the telly at about 9pm.
So all the drama passed me by
Last I remember we were 1-0 down...

When I saw the 2-2 result I was kind of hoping we had gone 2 down and then rallied to grab a point.
Not that we had turned the game around only to throw away 2 points.

Not even the most partisan Charlton fan could have watched that team & performance last night , and then Seriously claimed that we are a promotion side.

The quality is just is not there, throughout the team.

The keeper made a bad error, the right back was poor, we didn’t win a header all night in Jones’ own words after the game, Taylor went missing again, Anderson isn’t ready, Godden was a passenger, etc etc.

It’s only forum bores on ITTV & slippery Methven who are now keeping up the pretence.

Put another way …can you imagine any of that team last night playing in the Championship next season

Imagine on the first day of the season in August 2025, going somewhere like Leeds United away with that line up.
