<peacedove> Three wins on the trots can we make it four at the Molineux on Tuesday?. Which Liverpool side is going to turn up?. Your guess is as good as mine. Wolves kept a clean sheet against Aston Villa on Saturday, surely they are not going to be push over even though they are every body's candidate for relegation. We have to keep the momentum going afters seeing off Sunderland and Nottingham Forest at their own back yards. Ironically we also playing Wolves of Friday

This is much trickier than the table suggests as Wolves have been decent for a while now even if they haven't been getting many points
Agreed. Their performances have really picked up and they're belatedly putting up a fight

Yes the players can't and hopefully won't buy into the pundits and fan channel trashing of wolves: "Bottom of the league", "13 points", "Worst team ever".

Some of those are facts but Wolves have got some decent results against the top sides and frankly we were lucky to beat them at Anfield. They're in that phase of the season where every game is basically a free hit for them.

##THERE IS NO EASY GAME IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE.

CHRIS SUTTON HAS GONE FOR AWAY WIN. 1:2

  • Molineux, 20:15
Liverpool have won their past three league games and are right in the race for the top four.

It feels like Arne Slot's side have turned a corner but Wolves have really picked up under Rob Edwards in recent weeks too.

I am not sure about this one. Everyone else will go for a Liverpool win, and I am going to have to do the same - but it will be closer than you think.

Sutton's prediction: 1-2

Noah's prediction: Liverpool will win comfortably. 0-3

AI's prediction: 1-3

Going to be a tough game. Wolves were up for it v Villa, at home under the lights is always tricky at any ground and with relegation pretty much confirmed, they can and seem to be playing with bit more freedom.

If we play with the discipline we had against Sunderland, we will be okay. If we play like we did at Forest, we will not be okay

Most Wolves players are not interested in playing in the championship next season, and going to put up performaces for possible suitors..

JONES KNOWS BEST HAS GONE FOR A GOALESS DRAW 0:0

Wolves vs Liverpool, Tuesday 8.15pm -

There's a bit of blind faith in the market around Liverpool at the moment.

They're being priced on reputation and peak performance levels rather than what the tactical match-up might look like here. The 13/8 with Sky Bet on Wolves double chance (win or draw) is worth serious consideration.

Why? Because this is exactly the type of game that can make life awkward for Liverpool.

Play Video - Late DRAMA as Wolves STUN Aston Villa in West Midlands derby

FREE TO WATCH: Highlights from Wolves’ match against Aston Villa in the Premier League.
Arne Slot has spoken openly about his side's discomfort when facing low blocks - teams that deny central space, slow the tempo and force them into sterile domination. Without Florian Wirtz knitting things together between the lines, that creative incision isn't quite as sharp.

Wolves, under Rob Edwards, are becoming a tougher nut to crack precisely because they embrace that approach. Compact, disciplined and prepared to suffer without the ball is their remit.

Wolves have landed this double chance play against Arsenal, Newcastle United and Aston Villa when going off heavy outsiders. They're comfortable being underestimated.

SCORE PREDICTION: 0-0

If we play with the discipline we had against Sunderland, we will be okay. If we play like we did at Forest, we will not be okay
The difference between those two games was Wirtz. Mainly thanks to him we could pass our way out of trouble against Sunderland whereas we couldn't against Forest.
