didnt know there was one on Damrak but ill take expert advice when given

It was the only bit of fun I had last time I was there - about 15/16 years ago. My ex-wife would only go in museums and galleries. Maybe that's why it's ex-wife.

Well on a serious note, you have to see why Quinn is scratching his head. In our relegation season we made nearly three times what you did on match day revenue and I'm betting that that figure will be pretty similar at the end of this season. Sunderlands prices are only second to wigans I think which is comendable. Ashley has our eyes out but we are used to paying it. At some point you will need to be pulling in more from a club generated side of things and quinn see the the gate receipts as an area to be improved on, although at your current prices, a full stadium every home game wouldn't raise you match day revenue over the year by too much in terms of what money is today. He must be bemused by it. When that is tied in with how much of your income goes on wages, the man must be worried. Hence his rant about stay away fans. Mike ashle is a twat but he has pulled us round financially and no matter where we finish this seaso it has been a huge success. We should break even this season and that is without the Carroll sale. He is still a **** though.

I'm happy to be corrected, but if you look into it I'm sure you'll find that his reasoning behind this was to improve the atmosphere, rather than anything else. The extra money is obviously important, though. However, in the current economic climate, and given our second half of the season, a 40K average is highly respectable. 6th or 7th highest?

this would be better on your own board mate as we have no intrest in the mags, unless you want to talk about Sun/land

Yeah from a fans point of view it is, but I'm sure he said that he couldnt be expected to keep going to short for money if the fans weren't turning up for matches. Is it right that your ticket prices have went up for next season??

That doesn't detract from the fact that it's respectable, and that's what was being said.

Yeah it is respectable when you look at other clubs as mentioned at the top of the thread. I just tied it in with what I was saying because it is related.

In fairness, you changed the dynamic by throwing Quinn into the mix. That wasn't part of the discussion and, you have to admit, you were on a bit of a wind-up, weren't you? You've finished sensible, so we'll talk again.

Hey what can I say, old habits die hard. It's why I don't post on any of the Facebook pages any more because the banter always ends up in a slanging match.

Very reasonable.

Ps, don't think I'm being ignorant and not checking your links for myself, it's just the band width of the Internet I am using is piss poor and it would probably takes about 3 hours to open the links.
Not 606 seems to work quite well though.
