I was just looking at the odds on saw his name. I think his track record suggests that even if LEvy offered the earth he would turn him down in favour of staying with everton as they gave him the job and he'll want to do it. I think everton fans will be happy. The odds are very short on capello which i think should be silly bets as he was almost retired but you never know and laudrup is very short odds along with sillyness like hoddle... It'll be interesting to see as for me its still not that big a job.. good club, spent losts but those wages now look mill stone like and their stadium is smaller than ours and the bid to take west ham's olympic bid looks doomed. Big english job? for harry redknapp sure.
yup. I think they won a couple and i heard booing I think that might have sharpened levy's knife a lot sooner than otherwise.
Capello was in the stands for the game yesterday and last time I checked there were no Russians playing yesterday!
Im not sure it really matters who their next manager is. If Daniel Levy keeps buying awful players for stupid money over the managers head then they will continue to fail.
plans are like ours... i'm not sure how far along they are but plans won't hire a big manager or pay the big wages they shelled out this summer.
WhoScored.com‏@WhoScored3m Tottenham: Have more points (27) after 16 PL games this season than they did at the same stage in André Villas-Boas' first season (26) #THFC
Surely Baldini will be installed? It's pretty much his team with the 7 signings he made in the summer?
Guillem Balague‏@GuillemBalague1m Not surprisingly, Djukic is going to be sacked at Valencia. As @HugoBallester explains, it will all be official in less than an hour AVB for Valencia??
I have to say that I feared this could happen today when the Sky cameras kept returning to Levy sitting in his seat long after the majority of supporters had left. To me who looked like a man who could not trust himself not to do or say something silly if he joined the media scrum. I really don't see Levy being able to attract a really top manager at this point in the season. If the Spuds had won yesterday they would have been right on out tails. OK so they haven't played that well but they have an impressive cabal of names in their squad an would (sooner or later) found a way to maximise their potential. So why get rid of AVB? Still it's their problem not ours.
