this is crazy from the spuds... baby and bath water all thrown out in a fit of pique. well..... really it wasn't working and maybe his comment about players didn't help but they are not that far off are they. This is a bit too soon for me. He was one point off CL last year and they are as he said still in all cups. Now i'll predict they'll lose in the league cup and not get near CL.
reckon its his comment in post match press interview, or Levy just not happy with their current position regardless of his comments?
oh an i went on bbc.. read this.. 1102: FOOTBALL Harry Redknapp has called on Tottenham to be patient with Andre Villas-Boas after Sunday's 5-0 home defeat to Liverpool piled the pressure on the Spurs boss. "I think people are over-reacting too quickly," the former Spurs manager told Talksport. "You lose a couple of games now and you're in trouble, it shouldn't be like that. You either think somebody is good at their job or not and when you appoint someone you should give them time and let them do the job. "I'm sure Villas-Boas will pull through it, if you give him time they will come back. It's far too early for people to start wanting to pull the plug on him, you've got to give him time and see what he can do." ........................ I am CONVINCED someone in spurs leaked the news to harry.. some old buddy and he was trying to dig the boot in to make levy look unreasonable.
I'm surprised but not shocked about this. I was shocked about Clarke though What the ****'s it all about?
Gutted Glad we got to play them before he went though Had to laugh at some of the spuds yesterday moaning about AVB and his style of footy and in the same breath saying they'd have Capello: please log in to view this image Avram Grant available at the moment??
Football makes no sense. If Spurs had won yesterday they would have been level on points with Liverpool. Rodgers doing a great job, AVB sacked? Its also Spurs best start to a season for decades. Man U got spanked by City the other year, Arsenal got hammered by Man U and more recently City. What a bizarre decision.
I'd say Laudrup but I doubt he'd be the answer to Spurs problems as Swansea play a similar game ie possession with no penetration.
