I remember Una Stubbs as a regular on Give us a clue. I think they used the same theme tune as Grange Hill at the time.
 
There's nothing I can say about this. This 'man' was obviously a raving lunatic.

I can't even imagine what the families and friends affected by this are going through.

Even more frightening when it is your own generation. Remember him breaking everyone's hearts in 1970 in Mexico. I thought that team was as good, if not better, than the one that won it in 1966.

Just as soon as GM death was posted I had flashback to him scoring against England and peeling away in delight... a great!
 
Nanci Griffith...just 68....beautiful voice and wonderful country songs. Some of her originals were hits for other artists, e.g. Outbound Plane (Suzy Boguss hit). Although not written by her, her interpretation of From a Distance is so much better than Bette Midlers, imo. Here is another of Nanci's originals:
