Barry Chuckle, aged 73. If you grow up in 90's he'd of been part of childhood. http://news.sky.com/story/barry-chuckle-of-the-chuckle-brothers-dies-aged-73-manager-says-11461833
RIP....Barry I've just read it on the BBC News. I was only watching them the other evening on a show. Very sad news
Sad news indeed...I saw these guys so many times my kids loved them. In fact one even came back from Uni with her friends to see them. Corny its true, and the act never changed but they were part of growing up over the last few decades...No more pantos at the New Theatre!
Shame about Barry Chuckle. Several people I know said he was a pleasure to meet off stage, and hilarious, when he’s been in Hull. Should have been here again at Christmas in the panto. RIP
Watched them in panto with our kids. Their humour bridged generations and they were genuinely funny. RIP Barry
'Chef of the Century' Joel Robuchon, who at one stage had a record 32 Michelin stars, has died at the age of 73.
RIP Steve Pollard.. He used to have 'Humber Pilot' on the corner of Bev Road/Greenwood Avenue, though I very rarely set foot in there, Steve seemed to be the one serving. Nice guy. Always had a smile and was up for a laugh.
Fabrice Miguet killed in the Ulster GP. Didn't know of him but he's the 5th road racing casualty this year. Questions are bound to be asked, again. RIP FM.
I went to James Cowton's funeral at Kilham a week last Friday, there was a massive turn-out, hundreds of bikes is convoy with the coffin and most had to listen to the service on speakers outside the church. All his bikes (bar one obviously) and trophies were on display at the wake at Driffield Showground, he was a very popular lad.
