22/01/2018 : Ours is one of seven games moved from Saturday due to FA Cup fixtures and Cardiff v Bolton has been postponed entirely for the same reason. This means a win or draw for AVFC on Tuesday week will see us in 3rd place. If AVFC win and Derby lose their match, then AVFC will go 2nd if the GD and Goals Scored are in our favour.

A superb 90th minute winner from Robert Snodgrass gave AVFC the win that puts us 3rd, just one point behind Derby, who drew their game tonight.

Six consecutive wins for AVFC, excellent, but we stay 3rd as Derby won their game and by a bigger margin too.
All 3 goals were well taken and I must confess that Burton's first was a good strike too ... but it was an OG !

So it was not to be 8 wins in a row for AVFC after all. Per the SSN Live Commentary the attempts were 5-4 & 9-3 = 14-7 and what a howler from Johnstone to gift Fulham's second goal !!!
We drop to 3rd after this bad day at the office, as Cardiff won their game to go 2nd, two points ahead of AVFC.
