I don't think that it is being broadcast live but you may here at as news item on BBC Radio Kent. You can either try digital, or 96.7 fm?

marcus - I'm going to merge this with your original Ashford thread, we've got a number of people trying to look in on both your two threads.

Kentish Man - I posted this earlier tonight on a different thread...

I'm not going tonight, don't normally do the pre season stuff, might only do a couple of friendlies (Wall & Posh) if that, gotta play things cool with her indoors before the season proper kicks off. :emoticon-0103-cool:

goalkeeper jake cole 25 who played under ian hendon at barnet and was also the player of the year that season under him, which was the season before last, played for us tonight on trial.

i think we can forget about j brown, i can see us taking cole on board now! not abad keeper at all!!
alot cheaper than brown, many will say alot worse also, but i'd rather see us with what money is left spent on a winger, striker or two!!

think we really need to focus on flitney, hawkes and maybe cole now...forget about j brown and move on...give these guys the confidence they will need from the beginning!!!

UTG!!!!!!

Just got back from Ashford,
Fish, Montrose, Jack Payne, and strangely Oli all looked good in the first halve.
Second halve Whelpdale, Lee, Payne all looked dangerous, Kedwell didn't really do it for me.
Lee got injured in the last kick of the game, stayed down for several minutes and limped badly when he did get up.
Keepers had little to do but Cole looked a bit more comfortable than Flitney and commanded his area well.

I should have said that the young lads Jack Evans and Deane Rance did well.
Another funny thing was Fuller, he was there but not playing in either 1st or second half.

Second Half team: COLE, RICHARDS, JACKMAN, BALDWIN, EVANS, WHELPDALE, LEE, WESTON, KEDWELL, RANCE and S. PAYNE

*Frampton and Lawrence did not travel with the team (choice not injury).

Second team looks to have got all of the first choice attackers on the field, hopefully they can better three goals!

How come Frampton and Lawrence didnt travel with the team??
