Ashford friendly

    Have a friend who's part of the youth coaching set up that went along to the game and they said to me that Spills, J.Payne, Montrose, Rooney and especially Oli all looked bright. Also that Fish got forward quite well. They said that Whelpdale and Lee were impressive and that probably worth keeping the Goalie Cole around a bit longer. Another thing they noted was that S.Payne was frustrating.

    Can anyone either back-up or slate their review for me?!

    tbh I'm quite pleased Lawrence and Frampton did not play, I know friendlies are necessary course, however, the quicker we get through these without injury the better.

    I'm really looking forward to seeing those two absolutely solid at the back when the season proper starts.

    I think Fuller is an Ashford lad! I work in Ashford n my workmate who is local went to school with him! lol

    I hope Stefan Payne steps his game up for these upcoming friendlies or the prospects of him appearing in the first team will be similar to last season unfortunately, from seeing him a few times you can tell he has potential as well which is the frustrating thing!
