I dont like cricket--I love it! Not loving it today though--we're making hard work of the Aussies!

Londons only

Hope you don't mind me posting on this thread?

Love the cricket and what a 1st days play.
Finely balanced at the moment.
Couple of early wickets in the morning and we're in control I'd say.

Disappointing first day but think we can turn it around with some early wickets tomorrow morning.

That little Ozzie tailender will have a lifetime's supply of Fosters given to him for his contribution today!

Great play from the young lad but embarrassing for England.
It was important after losing those two quick wickets Cook and Pieterson stayed in til the end.
If we can limit it to just two wickets in morning session, I think England will go on to win it.

That little Ozzie tailender will have a lifetime's supply of Fosters given to him for his contribution today!

Where did he come from BM2 ?? I live in Melbourne and have never heard of him till he was named in the team.
Most of all I liked the way he smiled all the way till the end, actually enjoyed himself. Hope both teams continue this kind of cricket, win or lose, its gotta be the way to go.

Important session coming up this morning - if England can get a lead of 200+ it will be interesting

I think that we need another 30-40 runs at least tomorrow.
The Aussies have said that they are going after Swann, and Broad still not fully fit, Finn is expensive and very little swing for Anderson it could be a very tight finish!!

Londons only

50-60 would be fantastic. We are favourites at the moment and I'd like to see the tail hang in for the morning session to frustrate the Aussies some more!

Drogs,

Broad got hit on the shoulder whilst batting in the 1st inns and could bowl till near the end of their 1st knock.

Well done Chris Broad, you can now line up alongside Maradonna when it comes to sportsmanship.
Well done ICC ,join FIFA as the Ludites of modern sport.
Well done Ian Bell, gritty vital innings turns the match Englands way.
An appalling mistake from a mistake prone umpire has ruined the great atmosphere and spirit of this test
