It is, and again, it raises serious questions about the management set up.

Disappointing that Ash has gone, a true City legend and we're letting him go out like this. Pathetic.

For god sake will you change your boring record. This currant management team had done sod all wrong.Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

He is reputed to be on £20k, which on current / remaining ability it's almost as much a steal as Bullard's. He is past it - but then again watch him score a swan song goal against us in a few weeks!

Current Management are building a new squad based on youthful better players than we had in August, whilst at the same time sorting out the wage bill, so I agree e18 - change the record TWF

People often confuse the words "young" and "good". If the players we're signing are so good then why aren't they showing it on the pitch?

The wage bill's not an issue now, NP's said that himself, it's now just about him putting his own stamp on the team, unfortunately it's a fat, boring, useless monotone stamp.

I'll change the record when I have reason to.

BOLLOCKS.

for 9 years through 6 managers he walks out because our cheecky chappy aint playing for us anymore.I would say a high percentage of city fans aren't upset JB has gone, all we kept hearing was 45k aweek here and there about him.

Exactly, stupid moves all around, we've lost what should be our first choice midfield partnership to replace them with what? James Harper and a youngster who won't be here at the end of the season.

As you said, 9 years, 6 managers and now he wants to leave. That should tell you everything, I trust Ash's judgment more than I do Nigel Pearson who has proved, and contines to prove absolutely nothing.

Do you not rate Rosenior,Mannonie, Chester, Fryatt, Stewart, Gerrard,Koren. All Pearson men.

Just ignore TWF, nothing worse than a fan who trolls and wums his own fans. Good luck to Ash, he should have a couple more years left in him to play at a reasonable level. Pearson is planning for the future and rightly so. Brownie and Ash will get a great reception when they come back.

I'll give you Rosenior and Mannone.

Haven't see enough of Chester and Fryatt to pass judgment.

Stewart hasn't done a lot in all honesty, I prefer Devitt in his position.

Koren only seems to play when he wants to, some games he's completely anonymous.

From listening to him and reading his tweets, I just get the feeling Gerrard would rather be at Cardiff and we won't be signing him permanently.

Greatest modern day captain for City. Pearsons building a team for the future to try get back into the premiership and ash doesnt fit his plans- his fitness isnt upto it. Just a shame we didnt get to give him a proper send off at the KC, I'd still welcome him out at half-time tomorrow to see him off properly

To be fair TWf's comment on Gerrard is the only thing I've ever seen him say that is accurate, rather than trying to wind people up on the board. Yesterday he was making out we'd had only one good performance all season, and anything he say's about the Pearsons is utter tripe.

I get that impression as well I have to be honest.

I think he'd rather be at Tranmere (not sure he'd make the Liverpool team and doubt he'd go to Everton). He's been house hunting in Liverpool and his family definitely seems to come first. Expecting a second kid as well.

We get it, you disagree, but calling me a troll is a very childish way of going about disagreeing. If anything you're the troll because you're yet to state why you disagree, you're just insulting me.

I don't see any insults there, you are a troll and a WUM. Just stating facts. Your comment on Gerrard is right though. If you seriously think the Pearsons are doing a bad job then you are pretty badly mistaken. To answer your previous comments about performances, if you want to see the best football in the world go and watch Barcelona, we are in the Championship and need to grind out results.
